FIRST Robotics is a program that stays with you for life. There are many opportunities offered to high school students on first teams. In 2012 there is 148 scholarship providers that are making over 664 scholarships available to FIRST participants.

Scholarships from FIRST:
- One time of $1,000 to full four-year tuition
- They are typically merit-based and have a range of scholastic abilities
- Most are STEM majors (60%) but there are still others (4o%)
- Most are for a spicific college but some are universal
- They each have some eligibility requirements, deadline dates, and application procedures
